Hi! My name is Bobby Koebler, and I’d like to welcome you to Nuts About Guitar!
When I turned seven, my mom called around for guitar lessons. Even back then, lessons were pretty expensive. It wasn’t easy finding an instructor. But we got lucky. My mom found a wonderful guitar teacher, Andy DeMeo.
While most teachers were charging $16 or more for a private lesson, Andy charged just $8. Because of his reasonable prices, I was able to take guitar lessons. And those lessons changed my life.
When I first got the idea for “Nuts About Guitar” my goal was to establish a place where young people, both girls and boys, would have the chance to learn to play the guitar in a fun, supportive environment without the performance pressure and high costs often associated with traditional music schools. I want “Nuts About Guitar” to be a place Andy DeMeo would be proud of.
As an experienced teacher, I know that learning to play the guitar can open the door to so many wonderful things. It can unlock the imagination, develop intellect, promote discipline, inspire creation, build confidence, strengthen the spirit, and so much more.
I‘ve always been “nuts about the guitar.”
It is my sincere desire that my students will be too…
